Our Story

Safe Haven Ear Nose & Throat Specialist Hospital was established on 9th September 2024 by Dr. Nwankwo Darlington, a Consultant Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeon with over 15 years of clinical and surgical experience.

The vision behind Safe Haven ENT was born from a desire to create a specialist hospital where patients receive accurate diagnosis, ethical treatment, and compassionate care using modern medical standards.

What began as a focused specialist practice has grown rapidly into one of the fastest-growing ENT-focused healthcare facilities in South-East Nigeria, supported by skilled professionals, modern equipment, and national and international collaborations.

Dr. Darlington Nwankwo

Chief ENT Surgeon & Medical Director

Dr. Darlington Nwankwo is a highly respected Consultant Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Surgeon with over 15 years of experience in medicine and surgery. Board‑certified ENT surgeon with over 7 years of experience. Dr. Nwankwo specializes in complex sinus surgeries, head & neck oncology, and paediatric ENT disorders. He is dedicated to providing compassionate, world‑class care to every patient. He is happily married to Dr. (Mrs.) Ezinne Nwankwo, and they are blessed with three children — a foundation that reinforces his compassion and dedication to patient care.
